Serving the Western areas of the city, the Shanghai Metro Line 15 will be 42 kilometres in length and have 30 underground stations. With approximately 1 million individual trips on an average weekday, the Line 15 terminal stations will be Gucun Park in Baoshan District and Zizhu Hi-Tech Park in Minhang. For a smooth, safe and pleasant experience, KONE will be equipping 16 stations with 203 KONE TransitMaster™ escalators, which are highly durable and designed for the most demanding public transportation environments. Also, KONE will equip all 30 stations with 65 KONE MonoSpace® elevators. "The Shanghai Metro is one of the busiest subway systems in the world.
