Description:

melalong cream (Hydroquinone/Mequinol/Tretinoin) is used to treat melasma. It helps to reverse hyperpigmentation by whitening darkened patches of skin. Dermatologists have also recommended its use to some patients for the bleaching of skin affected by age spots, chloasma and freckles when these conditions are caused by hormonal problems, exposure to the sun.

How is Melalong Cream used?

Tretinoin cream is topically used to treat acne (pimples), rough texture of facial skin, reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and mottled skin discoloration. melalong is prescribed for patients pain from black patches that are a result of different skin problems. This drug bleaches the skin to lighten it by reducing the skin pigment called melanin so that the dark patches also go away. Retino A Micro 0.1% Gel is available in Gel form. The side effects of this drug may include reddening of skin, allergic reactions, inflammation and blisters.

How Melalong Cream working?

Melalong Cream is a confection of three medicines: Hydroquinone, Tretinoin and Fluocinolone acetonide which treat melasma (dark spots on skin). Hydroquinone is a skin lightening medicine. It reduces the sum of a skin pigment (melanin) that causes darkening of skin. Tretinoin is a pattern of vitamin A that helps the skin to renew itself more quickly. Fluocinolone acetonide is a steroid which blocks the production of accurate chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that build on the skin red, swollen and itchy.

miss a dose:

eat a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your general time. Don't take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.

Overdosage:

There have been no systemic reactions reported from the usage of topical hydroquinone. However, treatment should be restricted to relatively small areas of the body at one time.

• White patches at the site of application

Warnings:

• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of asthma, any allergy, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

• Avoid using this cream on open wounds or other skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
• Avoid exposure of the affected skin to direct sunlight.

Storage:

Store malalong cream 15 gm medicines at room temperature, far from heat and direct light. Don't freeze medicines unless required by package insert. Keep pills away from children and pets.
