Abu Dhabi is set to host the most awaited UFC event of the year – Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Dustin Poirier.
The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi has announced its five-year partnership with UFC World to organise the tournament starting with UFC 242 in September 2019.
His Excellency Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Executive Council Member of Abu Dhabi and Head of the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, said that the relations between Abu Dhabi and the organisers of the international events are excellent and that they are helping to attract a large number of tourists to the capital, including the Formula 1 and FIFA World Cups.
