Lucky Enough to Find the Right Accountant

Bookkeeping has never been my thing. There are many online tutorials available for fresh and small businessmen who cannot afford an accountant service at the start of the business. Therefore, I was confused about whether to invest in outsourcing an accountant or to do basic bookkeeping myself. I wanted to save every single penny and invest it in the digital marketing of my online business. Therefore, I delegated the task to my brother who was a college student and was studying accounting. I thought he would be able to do the basic accounting of my business and keep a track of every sale.

Unfortunately, I was wrong. The accountants who have completed their degree and working in the field are the masterminds. My brother was merely a student and it was his first year at the college. I started to have issues with the balances soon and it was getting harder to track all the products and their sale proceeds. My brother was also trying to manage his studies with the extra load of work I wanted him to do for my business. Therefore, I decided to set him free and find a professional to complete the job.

I searched for Accountants in Beckenham and found few accountants offering discounted services to fresh businesses. After contacting the shortlisted accountants, I set up a meeting with 2 of them. Both the meetings were planned for the next day with enough cushion in time for me to drive and reach the meeting spots in time.

The first accountant was a gentleman who was offering his services for the initial setup of finances only. The offered rate was good but it was not serving my requirements completely. Therefore, I was hoping for the next meeting to be successful. The next and last accountant was a very lively lady and she offered all the services I was hoping for. She also offered extra by suggesting to keep her as my tax advisor as well. The taxation and documentation make a very complex process and all of her services were needed by my business.

She confirmed she took a break due to her marriage and recently joined the Accounting Services Beckenham team after a baby. She had a vast experience and her package was very affordable. Therefore, I hired her for the financial accounting and taxation services right away. We set another meeting for the next day when she suggested that she wanted to start the finances at the earliest and get the business running.

Her support and advice were really helpful and soon my business was on the right track. She also guided my brother about the accountancy future and what fields he needs to be focusing on. Overall, I was glad I looked for the accountant’s services online and invested in the right accountant. The investment totally paid off in the long run and my business started making enough profit that I also hired a social media handler to market the products and increase customers.
