LED TVs are the new kind of TVs in the market today. These TVs have a new technology that enables us to enjoy more our viewing experience. Since LED TVs are still fresh, you may want to know certain things about it.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LCD AND LED TVs

LCD TV or Liquid Crystal Display TV uses crystal so that images are produced on the TV screen. The liquid crystal forms a thin layer and pixels are produced by its tiny cells. While there is an application of electric current, the light bends as its rod shaped molecules respond. However, this TV is not that efficient when it comes to power utilization because enormous mass of light is needed to be produced and this light is being blocked before it reaches the viewer who is enjoying the TV show. Outdoor Led Display Malaysia

LED TV or Light Emitting Diode TV utilizes backlighting technology and makes use of LED. Red, blue, and green LEDs are being used which illuminates to produce the appropriate color. Edge lighting and Full array technology are its two types. This technology is efficient because it uses 40% less power. Now that's eco friendly!

MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EDGE LIGHTING TECHNOLOGY AND FULL ARRAY TECHNOLOGY

Edge lighting technology makes use of LED backlights in a chain or sequence and these backlights are assigned along the external border of the screen. Through this, the light across the screen is being distributed. This technology makes it possible for TVs to have a slim design but black levels are not the deepest and the border area of the screen has a tendency to be brighter than the middle area.

In Full Array technology, several layers of LED is being used and being placed at the back on the total surface of the screen. With this technology, local dimming is possible. And so, a LED can be set up within the areas of the screen. Now, you have more access on the TV's brightness and darkness. This technology doesn't give TVs the benefit to be slim. Simply, these TVs are thick. Curved Led Display Malaysia

Videos and pictures from your computer can now be accessed through your TV. Ethernet cable or wireless router makes it possible to have network connectivity. The set up is easy and once you finished setting it up you can open all your files with you TV.

THE LED TV'S ECO FRIENDLINESS

This TV will not fail you in terms of power efficiency. It uses 40% less power than regular LCD TVs and only 1/10 of a watt are utilized when it is in standby mode. Another reason why it is eco friendly is that it is mercury free. Mercury is harmful not only to the environment but also to people. Small amount of it can already cause kidney and brain damage. Smart Board Interactive Touch Screens

HOW CONTRAST RATIO AFFECTS THE PICTURE QUALITY

Contrast ratio affects the quality of pictures being viewed because it has a relation to the black and white color especially during bright and dark scenes. It a measure of a display system and the higher contrast ratio, the better image is being produced.

THE LED TV'S 1080P RESOLUTION

The number 1080 represents lines of vertical resolution or 1080 horizontal scan lines. The letter "p" stands for progressive scan which means the image is not interlaced. 1080p can be referred to as full HD or full high definition. 1080p is a shorthand name for category of HDTV video modes.
