As we know, Mumbai has so many limitations in terms of expansion, construction, and transportation. Since the city cannot expand its boundaries, the available area is getting full day by day, which ultimately results in the heavy traffic. On the other hand, due to unavailability of enough land, the property prices are also going high. Hence, Pune is becoming the next destination for the people who are seeking their homes in Mumbai or Thane. Following are the reasons why there is a constant increase in apartments in Pune.

Limitations in Mumbai

Mumbai is situated on the coast of the Arabian Sea. Till the 19th century, Mumbai was divided into seven islands, which later become a part of a metro city as seen today. Due to illegal constructions and the exceeding limit of the coastline, Mumbai has suffered from several natural disasters such as floods and landslide several times. Increasing traffic is another headache due to a large number of people migrating to the town. Thus, the developers picked a location which is near to Mumbai and competent in all the sense, which is Pune.

Industrial Presence

Earlier, all the businesses were first introduced in Mumbai, along with their workshops. But, due to lack of availability of the land and several other issues, the companies have left their headquarters in Mumbai, and the workplaces are being migrated to Pune. The weather and other factors suite most of the businesses, including the technology sector. The industry is the second reason why developers have introduced flats in Pune after Mumbai.   

Travel Convenience

Mumbai is getting congested day by day, and all the modes of transportation are becoming overloaded. The local trains are called the lifelines of the city, but the increasing rush is becoming a significant issue on the limited railway lines and trains. Most of the roads are flooded on weekdays, which becomes tricky for the people to visit their desired places. Pune, on the other hand, has ample land and convenient transportation with an extensive network of roads. Hence, you can see several upcoming residential apartments in Pune.  

Affordable Land Prices

The land prices are also lesser than that of Mumbai and Thane, which becomes advantageous for the developers, and ultimately for the buyers too. The ample land and comparatively low prices have led the developers to introduce new affordable flats in Pune.

Scope for Expansion

Unlike Mumbai, Pune has a vast scope to expand its boundaries in all the possible directions. Majorly, the areas near highways have been targeted by the developers for the upcoming residential apartments in Pune.
