What is Science?
Science is the conjoint human effort to understand or to understand thoroughly, the history of the natural world and how the natural world works, with discernible physical evidence as to the basis of that understanding. Science is one of the subjects that have been cultivated since kindergarten with no dead ends in Malaysia. However, some students who would love to master in topics related to science would enter the science stream class in Form 4.
What are the subjects in a Science stream class in Malaysia?
The primary subjects available in SPM science stream classes are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. All PT3 students encounter this perplexity in choosing the potential variety of courses for the rest of their lives. The student should be apparent with his/her mindset to choose the career based on that. Still, students in Malaysia are free to choose their career since the educational system provided us with much comforts and options.
a) SPM Biology in Malaysia
Biology is a science of nature that complements with life and living organisms to our everyday experience. If you are determined to become a clinician or healthcare science in the future, you need to ace your Biology with flying colors. Moreover, SPM Biology is the easiest of all since it is a subject that should be learned as a story and not solely memorizing. Biology can be a little intricate, but it is enjoyable once you understand what you’re studying. After all, it just takes a little effort, patience, and time.
Otherwise, if you do not put your effort in understanding the flow of a chapter, you may need a Biology tutor. Maintaining a positive and passionate approach towards a subject is an important characteristic of any tutor, especially in Biology. As an SPM Biology tutor, he/she should be able to teach in a way that emphasizes learning biological concepts rather merely facts. Perhaps, a tutor that is good both in research skills and professionalism will guide the best syllabus for SPM Biology in Malaysia.
b) SPM Chemistry in Malaysia
There are many reasons for students finding SPM Chemistry tricky to learn. Chemistry is considered to be the hardest subject of all in IGCSE and A-Levels by most of the students. SPM Chemistry is the study of matter, its properties, how and why substances combine or separate, and many more. Cramming for a chemistry test is normal, but you just need to know how to do it right. For instance, students may need flashcards to break the larger divisions into smaller subtopics.
The phenolphthalein chemical reaction is one of the most beautiful reactions in Chemistry, and it gives you plenty of ways that make yourself fall in love with SPM Chemistry. A Chemistry tutor would encourage the students to grow skills in the accurate use of scientific language, formulae, equations, and how to apply practical techniques for scientific inquiry and investigation. They’d give you the hypothesis you need to understand the material world.
c) SPM Physics in Malaysia
SPM Physics is often considered to be comparatively easy if you are taking it alongside Mathematics or Additional Maths. Students should not omit at formulas that are stated in the SPM books, but Physics help in technologically advancing the world. Physics helps us to organize the universe and understand how the world around us works. However, Physics may have its disadvantage in which he/she should be good in numbers as well. A part that Mathematics plays in SPM Physics not stated in the text is that Mathematics is a great way to get a concise statement that would take a lot of words in English. By this means, you learn all things three in one!
Do you still need a Physics tutor if you’re expert in Mathematics? Yes, you may need, because there are no restrictions in extending your knowledge. We agree that Physics teachers in the school are way too dull since they do not interact with the fun and excitement phase of it. However, a Physics tutor helps you to understand the basis of all theories and memorize simple as well as complex formulas. This is the only method that gives the students the courage they need to attain their peak action potential.
