There are two variants on offer, the grade-J and grade-V optional. It is grade-J with a manual transmission which carries a price tag mentioned above. The one with CVT is priced at Rs 9.35 lakh ex-showroom.

Powering the new Yaris is a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine. This powerplant belts out 105bhp at 6000rpm and maximum torque of 140Nm at 4200rpm. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed CVT.

The safety features include Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, ABS+EBD+BA (Brake Assist), Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Other features like front and rear parking sensors, fog lamps at both ends, follow-me-home lamps are also available.

New Toyota Yaris comes with 8-way driver seat adjuster which will help you find the perfect driving position. The air vent is mounted on the roof and the windshield is heat-reflecting and will not allow the car to heat up too much when parked in the sun.
