Keto Diet Side Effects

Keto diet is one of the latest trendy ways for weight loss over the last few years. In this diet plan, intake of carbs is very low & you eat a degree of starch of around 30g of sugars every day or beneath.  Keto diet is high in saturated fat, which has been connected to coronary illness. Moreover, a supplement insufficiency and constipation could happen since the keto diet is low in fibrous foods, for example, organic products, vegetables, fruits and whole grains.

4. Leg cramps – One of the common side effect of the keto diet is leg cramps, occurs due to lack of water and minerals. Sometimes people even face problem like hyponatremia because of the low level of sodium in the blood.

5. Bad Breadth – Once you switched to keto diet your body will start producing ketones. And once your body starts burning fat, you may face a problem like bad breath.  The only solution to keep your mouth hydrated is to drink a lot of fluid.

6. Less energy - Another common problem with the keto diet is that you feel lethargic due to lack of glucose in the body. It’s really tough to maintain a good energy level all the time because of fluctuation in your blood sugar level.

7. Frequent Urination - As your body consumes the put-away glucose in your liver and muscles within the initial days of beginning a ketogenic diet, you'll be discharging a lot of water. In addition to this, your kidneys will begin discharging excess sodium as the level of your circling insulin drop.

8. Low level of Blood Sugar – This problem occur with those people who are in the habit of eating a lot of carbs in daily food. In case, when the measure of sugar admission is radically diminished on a keto diet, it's conceivable to experience momentary scenes of low glucose. This can make one tired when your body adjusting on a different diet pattern.

Although you may face all the above health problem these side effects can be reduced if you:

  • Increase water intake
  • Include more salt in your diet

  • Include a reasonable amount of fat in your daily diet

Along with this diet plan, you may also include diet pills like Garcinia Cambogia or Green Tea Extract (it’s good for increasing energy level) for effective weight loss.

To conclude, one should choose a diet plan according to his/her body makeup and state of health. A ketogenic diet is not good for people suffering from low blood pressure, diabetes, or if you are pregnant.
