The prostate gland is a main part of the reproductive system in men. It is located under the bladder and secretes a wet fluid, often white in color. It consists of seminal fluid, semen, and spermatozoa. Usually, this fluid helps in neutralizing the vaginal tract, which further enables to increase the lifespan of the sperm. Normally, the problem of enlarged prostate gland is often seen in men post 40. This sort of problem is also referred to as prostatic hyperplasia.

Early symptoms that can be noticed are urinary pain, frequent urination and inability to urinate. This often happens due to the extreme pressure on the bladder. You need to consult your doctor as soon as you face any of these symptoms. Most of these complications can result in bladder stones, kidney problem, and bladder damage. Do not be under the misconception that these problems might cause prostate cancer. Consumption of fresh fruits and veggies is a must followed by a complete shutdown of processed and oily food. Drink plenty of water as this would hydrate the urinary system. The person needs to consume at least ten glasses of water every day as it would help in healing the glands. Cranberry juices have also done wonders to fight the bacteria present at the glands.

The other product can be Beta-sitosterol, often found in sugarcane pulp. Consumption of flax seed oil, which is generally rich in omega fatty acids, helps to clear the digestion process. Basil, Salmon oil, Tuna, Cod liver oil, and Halibut contain omega fatty acids, which further help in clearing the bacteria completely. Also, if possible, increase the consumption of food rich in zinc, such as eggs, pork, oyster, red meat, and shellfish. Food rich in Vitamin D must be definitely included in the diet list. Increase the consumption of spinach, roasted almonds, peanut butter oil, wheat gram oil, broccoli, which are high in vitamin E. Lastly, in addition to all of the above, maintain a healthy diet and follow the treatment to the core.
