Is One Punch Man's ' Saitama ' a cartoon or a super-strong hero's memorial?

After observing so many individuals trying to "Quantify Mythology" (the phrase I use to define the obsession of Internet Fandoms to compare distinct superheroes from distinct media in fights to determine who is the strongest) around Saitama and how it relates/compares to other superheroes, I decided to disclose why I believe the hero Saitama and the manga/anime One Punch Man is like that.

So many individuals confuse his tale or try to co-opt a personality in absurd' versus fights' are missing the most key theme of Saitama's tale.

Manga/anime is not about the power(s) of Saitama.
Like Superman, Saitama is as strong as it needs to be to win. It's not about his training or his development, his power was already the best when we get into the story, and unlike Goku, he doesn't need to develop his powers. The fight of Saitama is an inner one. It's about his search for a significant relationship with humanity.

Saitama is not a parody per se, but rather a subversion of the trope of the Ultimate Superhero, just as Goku and Superman are in their respective cultures.
