Vastu, in India, can be considered as Ancient Architectural Knowledge. Vastu Shastra basically integrates traditionally Hindu and in some cases Buddhists beliefs.

Vastu enforces the scientific architecture of a home or building for business purposes, to balance the energy flows for the enhancement of living culture and growth of the business.

Modern-day Vastu is totally different from the Ancient Vastu. With the evolution of Mankind, Vastu principles have evolved in many ways. In ancient Vastu Shastra, it was considered wrong to have sewerage (or toilets) in homes but at present, Vastu Shastra considers washroom to be constructed in South-West or South directions of home.

Right Vastu makes a notable impact on the people residing in the home. The flow of energy of a place controls peace, harmony, health, finances and prosperity in an individual's life.

Following are some important Vastu Tips for Home:

  1. To overcome stress & agitation in life, strictly Avoid bedroom in the sector between East & South-East.
  2. Do not place mirror & blue/black colour in South & South-East Vastu sectors.
  3. Avoid Toilet in the Vastu sector between North & North-East of your home as a toilet in this sector may cause cancer.
