SPAL: No points after two games ( Recent Form: D W W L L )

SPAL finished neatly in thirteenth place last season and secured a third season in a row in the Serie A. A great achievement by the club that reported for the first time in fifty years at the highest level. With four new players, the season kicked off at home against Atalanta. With a perfectly executed counter, SPAL took the lead after seven minutes. Federico Di Francesco, who was taken over from Sassuolo, scored on the instructions of striker Andrea Petagna, who scored sixteen times for SPAL last season. After half an hour of playing, Petagna himself made his first of the season and there was a comfortable 2-0 on the scoreboard. Atalanta was then lord and master and started the pursuit. Eventually SPAL collapsed under the pressure of the number three of last season and lost 2-3. In the second game of the season, the Spallini went to visit Bologna and barely got to play football. Despite many great opportunities for Bologna, SPAL held out for a long time until it took the 1-0 lead in the 93rd minute.

Lazio: Eight unbeaten games ( Recent Form: W W W W D )

Lazio disappointed last season but managed to save the year by winning the Coppa Italia. Despite that, Lazio continues on the trusted tour under trainer Simone Inzaghi. In the first two games, for example, there were ten familiar faces at the kick-off, only Manuel Lazzari of SPAL was attracted to the basic eleven. In the opening game, Sampdoria was simply pushed aside with 0-3. Lazio, especially in the first half, got the better of the game and saw Immobile (two goals) and Luis Alberto (a goal and an assist) excel. In the second round there was a real test on the program against rival AS Roma. Roma scored early from an easily given penalty, but it was Lazio that the entire game was supreme. After an hour of play, Luis Alberto made the deserved 1-1 on the instructions of Immobile, which was also the final score.

THE BETTING VERDICT:

After all, SPAL was close to a result twice but was clearly the underlying party in terms of play and odds in both games. Lazio played two great matches in the familiar line-up and should have been on six points, the match against fellow-city rider Roma should have been won. This match is the return of Manuel Lazzari to his previous club, I expect that he will take the win with Lazio.
