Accurate Paternity DNA Test in India

Posted by Rahul singh on September 25th, 2019

When a baby is conceived, each parent transmits half of its DNA, whose genetic code (DNA) is a familiar blend of DNA from mother and father. By collecting and examining a small DNA sample of the baby and potential father, a paternity test can confirm or deny that the possible father is the baby's biological father.

Paternity DNA Test in India is used in some of the specific reasons, including:

ü  Assist in obtaining Tax benefits for the parents

ü  Assist in obtaining all entitled benefits for the child from both parents (i.e. life insurance, health care, social security, child support)

ü  Establish rights to an inheritance

ü  Confirm parentage in surrogate births assisted reproduction or insemination

ü  Be added to the birth certificate of a child

ü  Assist in obtaining custody of a child

The result of a DNA paternity test is either an exclusion (the alleged father is not the biological father) or an inclusion (the alleged father is considered the biological father). For a standard paternity test, guarantees a 99.9999% probability of paternity for inclusions or 100% certainty of exclusion.

In some cases there could be trouble during paternity like:

  • When paternity DNA testing involves twins, either as children or alleged parents, it can be challenging to detect due to their indistinguishable DNA samples.
  • Paternity can be a significant problem area in family courts, whether you are talking about issues about fraud or biological fathers obstructed from having a relationship with their children.
  • Tampering with paternity DNA test results
  • Making misrepresentations while pregnant or during pregnancy

Accurate Paternity DNA testing can answer a lot of questions, but some of the questions are trickier to answer than others.
