Types of industrial inkjet printers

We manufacture high-quality custom & especially Industrial Ink & fluids for industrial printing needs. Our dyes & pigments come from the finest materials & our products go through quality assurance tests to make sure that our customers enjoy reliable replacement products that are effective & compatible with the industrial printing equipment. We have a wide range of industrial ink & fluid products to service all types of industrial printers. These are:

  • Industrial inkjet
  • Printer inks
  • Marketing inks
  • Wide-format inks
  • Thermal inkjet (TIJ)

The Industrial Inkjet Printers are classified into two main categories i.e. continuous inkjet technology (CIJ) & drop on demand (DOD). Continuous inkjet technology is that in which drops are emitted continuously from the print head. Drop-on-demand technology is that in which drops are emitted from the print-head only & that too when they are needed.

CIJ fluid is directed to a pump from a reservoir onto one or more nozzles of every small size. Continuously many drops are emitted at a fast frequency. A Piezoelectric crystal is used to get this frequency after drops pass through the electrodes that transmit a charge to each of the drops. This will bring the result of the drop that would be emitted & this drop will be collected & also re-circulated. This is because of the piezoelectric technology high-speed inkjet printing can be done.

Continuous inkjet printers are industrial inkjet printers that are used for coding & marking of products & packages applications like flexible packaging, beverage containers, food processing, pharmaceuticals, personal care products & cosmetics. In CIJ under pressure streams of inks continuously circulate but solvent keeps the inks thickness stable. After the streams of ink are wrecked up into drops these are redirected y the print head to an exact position on the product.

The drop-on-demand is a classification of inkjet-printing equipment here drops are expelled from the print head when needed. This technique is used to make the pressure create the primary subcategory that is contained by DOD. These are easy to operate, need less maintenance & are very strong & reliable. They have lower capital & equipped costs than further inkjet technologies. They also have a wide collection for most substrates; they have lower printing resolution that limits their application in many trade packaging applications.

Industrial Inkjet has 3 basic categories these are flatbed printers, cylindrical inkjet printers & single-pass printers. Inkjet printers can print graphics, electrical circuits & information. Industrial inkjet printers with product-coding have many advantages for traditional paid printing. Many colors can be accurately reproduced using magenta, yellow, cyan & black so changing from one design to others doesn’t require changing ink cups or mixing custom colors. As a result, less ink is wasted.
