Patient: Hi, I was expecting you, please, be comfortable.

Nurse: Thank you. I am sent by Dr. Morris. He has suggested that I should teach you how you can take insulin yourself.

Patient: thanks you are here. but, I really do not understand why the doctor has prescribed this insulin to me.

Nurse: There must have been some reason.

Patient: Do you think my sugar has increased?

Nurse: Well, not all the times do doctors suggest insulin when the sugar level is higher. It is prescribed for some other reasons only the doctors know the best.

Patient: Oh

Nurse: And you look nervous.

Patient: Yes, I am.

Nurse:  You do not have to be.

Patient: It is for the first time that I am going to take insulin.  Tell me honestly, do you think my sugar level is very high and that is why this has been prescribed for me.

Nurse: It can’t be like that. Let me take a look at you report too.

Patient: I do not have the reports now.

Nurse: And it is sometimes good to take insulin to manage the sugar levels. And trust me, it is going to be very simple for you.
