If you have ever heard or read about the ammonia while washing clothes and wondering what is the use of ammonia, let us find out here. Laundry service has provided the best information.

1. To clean your most delicate clothes, you can also use ammonia. Remember that some fabrics are recommended to wash by hand, so if you have any similar garment, leave the garment to soak and add a teaspoon of ammonia. During the time you have the clothes submerged the product will remove the stains and, at the same time, will help you soften the clothes and revitalize their colors.

2. If you want to clean wool clothes, you must soak your clothes (sweaters, scarves, jackets, etc.) and add a tablespoon of ammonia. Then wash them by hand. If what you want to wash are wool blankets, you must leave them to soak overnight and add 4 tablespoons of ammonia to the water, to achieve a greater effect.

Once the soaking is finished, squeeze the garments to remove the water and let it dry. Remember that with this product, in addition to removing stains, you will soften the fabric and, in the case of wool, prevent it from caking.

3. Do you work in a factory and clothes always get grease-stained? The best remedy to clean work clothes is ammonia. Soak the clothes and add a quarter cup of ammonia to the water. Let the mixture act for a couple of hours and then wash your clothes normally. In case there are localized spots, carry out step one before soaking the clothes (rub the stain directly with 50% reduced ammonia in water).

4. For jackets, suits or delicate dresses, that is, everything that you would take to a dry cleaner, you can save money if you use ammonia. For this type of garment, we advise you to use this remedy in case it is a very localized stain.

To avoid damaging the material, make a small test somewhere in the garment that is not visible, in case it deteriorates, do not take any more risks.

If the fabric is kept in perfect condition, dilute 50% ammonia in water, soak a dry cloth and then rub the stain. Then let it dry outdoors. Laundry service recommends placing a towel or a thick cloth under the garment to absorb excess product.
