Why is imap.gmail.com Not Responding

When you go to refresh your emails and you find that you are not receiving it then it might be because your IMAP is not working. This can be annoying and this issue can be caused due to disruption in email settings or might be a problem with an internet connection as well. 1. Send an email from the inbox. This means that email cannot fetch new mails but certainly can send new ones created by you. 

2. Try refreshing the inbox continuously and hence wait for some time. It might happen that the message is taking a little longer to receive or display. 

3. Force quit the email so that the email server is refreshed. And for that, you also need to clear it from the task manager as well. 

4. You may also check for the internet connection. If it is not working then contact the service operator.
