Memoni Chicken Biryani Recipe For Your Special Guests At Special Occasions!

With special guests or special occasions, the biryani must be special too, isn’t it? Speaking of a special chicken biryani recipe, you will love to try the Memoni chicken biryani at home this time! Let’s start with the ingredients first.

Ingredients of Memoni chicken biryani recipe

  • Basmati Biryani Rice
  • Whole chicken cut into medium sized pieces
  • Sliced Onions
  • Potatoes
  • Tomatoes
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Memoni Biryani Masala
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Ghee
  • Curd
  • Green Chilies
  • Lemon Juice

Now to start with the recipe, take one frying pan and heat the oil on the medium flame. Add the sliced onions until they turn golden. Now add the chicken pieces along with ginger and garlic paste. Add the Memoni Biryani masala and stir fry the same for 6 minutes. Mix it well.

Once the chicken is tender, add 4 cups of water along with peeled potatoes and curd. Cover the mixture with the lid and let it cook till the potatoes are boiled properly. Once the potatoes are boiled, add the finely chopped tomatoes, whole green chilies and some freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mix it well and let it cook for 5 minutes. Switch off the flame and keep it aside for rest.

Meanwhile, boil at least 3 liters of water and add salt while boiling. Add the soaked basmati rice and let it cook. Make sure that the rice is ¾ cooked and then drain the water from the rice. Now take the deep bottomed wok and spread half of the boiled rice first. Then add the mixture of chicken in the middle and lastly, again the layer of rice.

Cover the lid and shake it. Now add some ghee on top for an aromatic flavor in the biryani. Now cook it for 10 minutes and switch off the flame after that. Now, your popular Memoni recipe of chicken biryani is ready. Serve it hot with curd and mix vegetable Raita. And surprise your special guests on the special occasion.
