We have self-owned organic tea garden of 166 hectares which were reclaimed from secondary forest in 1998, there were no any planting history but clear and fertile land.
We insist in rigid organic planting and management since reclaimed without any chemical pesticides and fertilizers.

Yunnan is a magical place, rich in natural resources and unique geographical wonders.

Today, let's talk about the geographical value of Yunnan Pu-erh tea.

The geographical value of Pu-erh tea in Yunnan originates from the specific geographical system of Yunnan. This particular geographic system includes the natural ecology and the diversity of species created by the combination of natural geography, climate and ecological diversity.

The geographical characteristics of Yunnan's low latitudes and high altitudes, combined with the tropical rainforest monsoon climate, have formed a large natural ecological cycle system, which has created the characteristics of Yunnan's specific ecosystem diversity and species diversity.

Ecosystem diversity includes terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. Its terrestrial ecosystem includes almost all types of ecosystems on Earth. Among them, forest ecosystems are marked by trees, mainly 169 species, accounting for 80% of China; shrub ecosystems mainly include cold-temperature shrubs, warm limestone shrubs, dry-hot valley shrubs and hot tidal shrubs. There are 4 types; the types of meadows in Yunnan are widely distributed, which are mainly divided into three ecosystem types: alpine meadow, marsh meadow and cold meadow.

Its aquatic ecosystems have river ecosystems and lake ecosystems. Yunnan's six major water systems, namely Jinsha River, Minjiang River, Nujiang River, Yiluowadi River, Yuanjiang River and Nanpan River, have constructed the basic framework of Yunnan's freshwater ecosystem. The Yunnan Plateau lakes represented by Dianchi Lake, Menghai Sea, Fuxian Lake, Yilong Lake and Lugu Lake reflect some special characteristics of China's freshwater ecosystem.According to its life style, Yunnan aquatic vegetation is divided into four types: water-producing plants, floating-leaf plants, submerged plants and floating plants. For aquatic animals, zooplankton, benthic and fish resources are abundant.

The species diversity in Yunnan is even rarer in the world. In addition to the reputation of “Animal Kingdom” and “Plant Kingdom”, Yunnan is also known as “the hometown of bamboo forest”, “the treasure house of the medicine forest”, “the spice museum”, the “natural garden” and the “bug world”. Wait. There are 220 species of 28 genera in Yunnan, and the number of genera and species account for 75% and 55% of the total number of the country, accounting for 40% and 25% of the world total. The types of medicinal materials, flowers, spices and fungi rank first in the country.

From north to south, Yunnan has 105 major forest types ranging from high-altitude coniferous forests to tropical rainforests. The number of forest types is also rare in the country. Therefore, Yunnan is a specimen library of the world's living things.

Pu-erh tea was born in such a large natural ecosystem. When the ancient people of Yunnan merged certain types or substances in this system into Pu-erh tea, the material combination of Pu-erh tea is not just a few pieces of tea. Superposition, but another way of expressing geographic features and natural ecology. Among them, the microbial flora that participated in the fermentation of Pu-erh tea has actually proliferated for hundreds of millions of years. Therefore, a piece of Pu-erh tea is not only a commodity, but also a reproduction of geographical value.
