A Cheaper Solution To Cracking IIT-JEE

Posted by Bhushan on October 21st, 2019

When was the last time we heard a student after his 10th grade prepared for an engineering exam entrance test on his own? Perhaps never! This is what the case has been in India for decades now.

IIT-JEE Entrance Exam

Cracking the IIT-JEE entrance exam is something that is preached day-in & out in Indian households. Children, from a young age, are told that they won't be any good if they do not take admission into an engineering college. And when it comes to engineering colleges, IITs take up the top spot. The IIT-JEE exam is considered one of the toughest exams to crack and the success rate in getting into an IIT college in 0.01% i.e only 10000 students of 1000000 appearing for the examination get admission into IIT.

Suicides Following The Result

Living life is tough. It's tougher when you prepare for something with all your heart and still don't get what made you persevere for so long. And when it comes to cracking one of the toughest exams in India, only a handful of students get through. The students who are not able to pass this test often experience depression. While most of the parents are now to be seen supportive of their children, some parents burden their child with so much pressure and taunt that a lot of students attempt suicides after the results come out.

Who Is To Be Blamed?

The real question is "Who Is To Be Blamed?", is the parents? The teachers? The Students, or the conventional education system that has cripple India's future. Today's education system doesn't nurture creativity and intelligence, but it rather kills it. Students have to mug up a lot of things that they should be learning. In fact, over 75% of the students do not remember what they had learned for the exam just after a month of appearing in the exam. In such a situation, how can we expect India's future to be bright and the GDP to rise?

Ed-Tech Shows Potential

Ed-Tech is a term used for products that focus on bringing a change in the education sector with the help of technology. Ed-tech looks like the future of the education system in India. While the Indian education system has failed to produce quality engineers and doctors, Ed-tech products are now helping schools and teachers with teaching students in a better way.

Ed-tech benefits include lower costs of education along with scale. The scale means that a teacher can teach as many students as the wants to by reaching everyone through the internet. Teaching on the internet means that lectures now no longer have to be recorded. The students can just log in to their profiles and watch previous lectures. This also means that with Ed-tech, students can also prepare for tough examinations like IIT-JEE.

IIT-JEE preparation can be made easier with the help of making study material available online along with mock tests. You can check out such JEE Main Mock Test

After all, as they say, Teach One. Each One.
