Breast augmentation, called augmentation mammoplasty, is done to increase breast size. In Implant breast augmentation,the breast implants are placed under the breast tissues or chest muscles. For some women, it gives them more confidence. In some women, it is rebuilding of their breast for various conditions. Yet another new method is breast fat graftotherwise called autologous fat transfer has emerged as a reconstruction technique. In this method, the fat is removed from other parts of the body by liposuction. The tissue is converted as a liquid and injected into the breast area to recreate. Another method of fat graftingcalled as lipo filling is used for fixing minor differences in the shape, balance, or position of the reconstructed breast when compared to another breast. Since that procedure was successful the doctors are rebuilding the breast through breast fat graft.

Though breast augmentation can change the size and shape of your breasts, it also improves body image and self-esteem. But you cannot expect perfection. When you gain weight or lose weight, it will change the look of the breast too. In case you are not happy with your breast, then you should again go for the surgery to correct it.
