How Professional Cleaning Services Helped Me Plan My New Year’s Eve

It’s the end of the year and everyone is looking forward to go spend time with their families and friends and enjoy the festivities. What makes my job as an office service administration supervisor interesting is that while everyone is looking forward to holidays, I would have to spend my time planning how to best utilize this time to get deep cleaning done in the office, so that when everyone comes back after a week or so, they find everything cleaned and organized to perfection. With such little time to get every little corner hygienically cleansed and every surface get a spotless finish requires back-breaking effort and labor. To add to that there’s snow outside, on the roof and the driveway, that needs to be shoveled. The best thing I could do in this case was called the nearest professional cleaning services in Boulder, who could give me the best rates for this cleaning job at this time of the year. So, I planned a week ahead, had a cleaning professional come and have a look at the office a week before Christmas and here’s what happened.

Scheduling in advance helps

The weather conditions in Boulder are a little unpredictable when it comes to snow. It’s not the same every year. Last week, I had called a few professional cleaning services in my area and informed them about my requirement. To my luck, I found a service provider that fits right into my budget but they said that they’ll only be working after Christmas. And that was just fine with me. The main benefit of these cleaning services is that they can be planned and these professionals are punctual. Snow or no snow, they arrived at the right time, already had figured out a cleaning plan and knew the sequence in which they had to finish their job. Isn’t that such a luxury? I did not even waste time to make the team go through the office.

Organized cleaning plan

These guys started with the top floor and two men were stationed outside to clear the snow from last night. It’s cold and I was worried how they would clean the office furniture and the floor as most of my office furniture is made of metallic or synthetic surfaces and we have wooden flooring and carpets covering the floor. But they call themselves for a reason. The deep cleaned the carpets with dry cleaning along with chemical treatment. No dust was spilled anywhere as they were quickly disposing of all the collected dust in a separate bag. When it came to windows and furniture, they started with a steam cleaning machine that is very effective in reaching inside closed corners and surfaces and certainly provides a sense of deep cleaning. That steam treatment, I presume, would kill most of the germs or bacteria due to the sterilization done by the steam. To add to this, they even opened the assembled furniture to go further inside the edges and corners. Then sanitized and cleaned the furniture and windows inside out with a chemical-soaked cloth. That right there gave me the true sense of deep cleaning.

All tasks handled

I did not have to run to the local supply store to get any of the cleaning liquids, I did not have to arrange for cleaning materials, I did not have to dispose of empty chemical bottles or cleaning cloths, I did not have to move or climb on any furniture. All done to perfection in one-third the time, leaving me a happy camper.
