A lot of people choose a career in childcare because of the flexibility with work hours, especially individuals who have children of their own but want to earn some extra income for their families. The flexible work hours allow people to choose when they can/want to work according to their chosen position and time slots available in the roster. If you’re a working parent, you can typically fit a part-time childcare role such as a nursery nurse, or playschool assistant in around your own childcare responsibilities as a parent.
