The movie is a beautiful depiction of the life of Ishan (played by Darsheel Safary) who suffers from dyslexia (hard of reading and writing) but is an avid dreamer and a fantastic painter. His life takes a turn for the best when he is spotted by Aamir Khan (his arts teacher) who helps him overcome his disability and succeed in life.
