Animation is a relatively a new technology that has developed in last few decades. Animation is an art where different visual effects are given to the still images through different computer applications giving it an effect of moving images or images in motion. Animation degree is usually acquired to know and carry out the 2d or 3d animation effects. In the past the applications where animation technology was used was very limited. It was usually used in children’s gaming products and toys or widely used in the cartoon movies. With boom in technology and so many movies being produced across the globe, today animation effects are commonly used in Hollywood, Bollywood, and other regional movies all over the world. Animation is an expensive technology and it is usually used to enhance the grandeur value of the movie. Being expensive, it is only used by big production and corporate houses which have huge budget for their movie. A movie with various kinds of animation effects surely adds to the aesthetic value of the movie and is always an electrifying experience for the viewers to watch. In order to pursue a career in animation one has to do multimedia courses to learn the skills of carrying out the animation effects.
