Posted by BettyMiller on October 30th, 2019

Chocolate truffles are truly an indulgent treat for all chocolate lovers. These decadent and creamy balls of chocolate ganache are ideal to add that cheer and joy to every occasion. And, good news: these yummy truffles are easy to make at home.

Yes, you heard it right. Now you don’t have to buy chocolates online as you can make absolutely delicious chocolate truffles at home with some extremely quick and easy recipes.

In this post, we will talk about a simple truffle chocolate recipe that only requires two ingredients. You can use this recipe with many other innovative ingredients to add a unique dimension to your favorite chocolate balls. Let’s begin.

Ingredients

White chocolate baking bars or semisweet baking chocolate – 6 ounces

Heavy whipped cream – ½ cup

Some finely chopped nuts or other candy decorations. You can also use chocolate sprinkles, cocoa powder, or finely chopped hazelnuts to coat your truffles in mouth-watering varieties.

Process

    1. Use a serrated knife to finely chop the chocolate bars. This will make it melt quicker and evenly. (Note: You can easily find many different varieties of bars of chocolates for deliveries online. You can order these to make delish truffles at home.)
    1. Heat the whipped cream on a stovetop. Alternatively, you can put the cream for a few minutes into the microwave to make it hot enough to melt the chocolate.
    1. Finally, pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and stir constantly to combine the two ingredients nicely. Let the cream work its magic on the melting chocolate. Meanwhile, grab a pan for the next step.
    1. Once the chocolate is fully melted, whisk the mixture until it becomes smooth and even. Pour the mixture into a shallow pan and place in the fridge to cool.
    1. After the mixture has completely cooled off, neatly scoop out round balls to make your truffles. Make sure you wear your gloves to make the cleanup easy.
  1. Finally, coat the balls in your favourite garnishing ingredients.

Alternative Recipes

The afore-mentioned recipe is the perfect alternative to ordering chocolates for delivery. You can even add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter and half a teaspoon of pure vanilla essence to further enhance the flavor.

Once you have rolled the truffle mixture into balls, garnish it with sprinkles of nuts. You can also use melted white vanilla baking chips, chopped candy or nuts to top the truffles. Serving truffles with a wide variety of finishes makes for a gorgeous and enticing presentation.

So, whether you want to gift truffles to your loved ones or serve them as an after-dinner dessert, these luscious homemade truffles are perfect for every occasion. Now instead of ordering for chocolates online delivery, make your very own truffles and delight your loved ones. You can even buy small and large gifting boxes for truffles online to gift these tasty chocolates to your friends and family.
