Barcelona is a beautiful place to spend holidays, It’s a city which welcomes tourists with open arms that no other city could do. Barcelona has many things to offer to its tourists, such as the famous Sagrada Familia, the Park Guell, the Las Ramblas, Port Aventura, the football culture, etc. The city is well known for its culture, tradition, and mainly for its architecture. The unique design or layout of Barcelona is it’s USP. People who visit Barcelona get lost in discovering these above-mentioned places and they forget about the most fun part that is the amazing food. 

Visiting Barcelona and not eating it famous dishes would be a very wrong decision. 

It is also believed that Spain is a dream destination for foodies, but people make mistake by missing out on the delicious Catalan cuisine. But the best part is that the food offered in Barcelona is not just from the menu of Catalonia but they offer the best varieties from all the regions of Spain. 1. Paella

 Paella is a kind of dish which can’t be missed, if you are visiting Barcelona and not eating        Paella would be like visiting Paris and not going to Eiffel tower. However, Paella was originated from Valencia but now it is spread and served all over Spain especially in Barcelona. Earlier Paella was made with beans and meat instead of fish and shellfish

2. Bomba

 During the dark time of the Spanish Civil War, Barcelona was filled with Danger. The Revolutionaries and anarchists used to roam in the streets of Barcelona withholding small hand grenades. These small hand grenades were extremely effective that they inspired a local chef to innovate dish which now very famous among the streets of Barcelona known as Bomba (the Bomb). The dish is very delicious and a must-try thing for a foodie. 

3. Esqueixada

 It is probably the most authentic Catalan salad which you can eat. It’s very light, ingredients included in it are bacalao (or raw salted cod) which is served with romesco sauce, tomatoes, onions, and black olives. And it tastes even more delicious with sparkling Catalan Cava. You should never miss such kind of opportunity when you are in Barcelona.
