A Sad Letter of the Son of Late Pastor Richard Wurmbrand

From Mihai (Michael) Wurmbrand: Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) promoted a motion picture about the Romanian MinisterRichard Wurmbrand family suffering under communism, in which I am portrayed.  It was made without my knowledge or permission. VOM uses our family sad history of persecution to cover up Voice of the Martyrs questionable reputation.

Here are the facts: The suicide of its chairman of 20 years Tom White, only 2-3 hours after the parents of a 10-year old filed a formal complaint with the local police of suspected sexual child molestation of their daughter. I received a letter of dismissal 4 days only, after asking in writing for an independent investigation. Now six years later my letter to the VOM board of directors remains unanswered!

Voice of the Martyrs used at least 28 million dollars out of missionary donations to build itself opulent buildings. Tom lied to one and all re. his private life. Tens of millions of dollars of sacrificial missionary donations, obtained by advertising the persecution of Christians in communist and Moslem countries, were used by VOM in difficult economic times, to support local construction in the town of Bartlesville, OK (population: about 36,000.)
