Dream Girl starring Ayushmann Khurana, Nushrat Bharucha & Annu Kapoor directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa under the production of Balaji Telefilms & released on the 13th of September. Ayushmann Khurana has been on a roll for the last 2 years as he has been giving success films. He lived up to his expectations again delivers yet another gem as in the previous movies he kept a secret of being a professional sperm donor. In Andhadhun, he was wallowing in complicated fakery now Raj Shaandilyaa is playing him a pretending to be a woman on a phone sex line. His character name is Karamveer Singh who had talent since childhood to disassemble the role of women & was in a desperation mode for employment in adulthood a young boy from Gokul somehow agrees to work at the call center as the men who are being dialed by the women who are offering them solace & conversations. Now in this avatar, he has been dubbing as Puja though there is kind of private detective things at the end of the conversation which simultaneously turns out to be a decent folk for the company’s fellowship. There is a message shown in the film that there is a lot of Extention of loneliness in the modern era where social networking sites gives them a chance to have new friends & to have a better conversation over there but the harsh reality is they struggle to find a single people to be a new friend. As in the first half of the film Puja’s hilarious conversations steal the show as the situation got a little confusing when each one of them falls in love with each other & the best part was strangers were getting to know better than who was meeting on a daily basis. Then in the second half Karam (Ayushmann) was getting frustrated with the role of puja as he was trying to get rid of his admirers. Further, the scenes were getting awkward as Karma went to meet the old lady to cowp the beans on the grandson who was one of the suitors of Puja. As he was using some throwaway lines & the comic timings were a little bit on point but the first half of the film is the highlighting point of the film. As in the second, all the scenes & some pick-up lines were being repetitive & usually, all the critics said the second half of the film is not good as the first half. You feel that the second half of the film could have ended earlier but it was stretched off as the director successfully wrote the scripts for all comedians & all the highlighting lines shows the romantic comedy film. As Dream Girl is surely a hit film & a must watch Film for Ayushmann’s mesmerizing performance as he always lives up to his expectations & there is a lot of laughter scenes to remove all the stress from your life. As the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety girl, Nushrat Bharucha able to give a not much-anticipated role as the fans were expecting but supported Ayushmann through the film along with Annu Kapoor who is also a major highlight in the film
