American Education system

The American education system offers foreign students a wide range. There are so many schools, programs and locations that elections can overwhelm students, even Americans. When you begin your search at school, it is important to familiarize yourself with the American education system. Understanding the system will help you reduce your options and develop an educational plan.

Educational structure
PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL
Prior to higher education, American students attend primary and secondary school for a total of 12 years. These years are defined as grades one through twelve.

Around the age of six, American children begin elementary school, which is commonly known as "elementary school." They attend primary school for five or six years and then attend secondary school.

The secondary school consists of two programs: the first is "secondary" or "secondary" and the second is "secondary school". A diploma or certificate is awarded after high school. After graduating from high school (12th grade), students from the United States can go to college or university. Higher education is called "higher education."

EVALUATION SYSTEM
Like American students, you must submit your academic transcripts as part of a college or university application. Academic transcripts are official copies of your academic work. In the United States, this includes "grades" and "grade point average" (GPA), which are a measure of academic performance. Courses are commonly classified using percentages that are converted to letter grades.

Education is compulsory for the students till 16 or 18. Students enter to the education at the age of 5 or 6.
Students are admitted to the
High School grades in term of their age.
The students continue studies for one long year.
