If you run a facility that contains large amounts of green space, then you have a duty to make it look neat and presentable. This can be a challenge. On the one hand, grounds that are covered in green spaces can add a certain charm and attractiveness to an institution. On the other hand, if those grounds are not kept up, then they can present bring down the image of the organization. It is your job to ensure that this never happens. You can hire a full-time landscaping team or you can pay contractors to do it. Both options are costly; and with so many pressures on modern organizations to contain expenses where they can, you may not be able to sustain such spending indefinitely.
One of the better options is to have a synthetic lawn installed. Universities, research parks, and other organizations with large green grounds to administer are choosing to do this. A synthetic lawn is easy to maintain and can be installed without too much difficulty or cost.
Such lawns were once objected to because of the hazards they present to the public. Anyone who slipped and fell on a synthetic lawn could extensive abrasions. This is no longer the case. The science and technology used to construct such lawns have advanced tremendously. Skinning your knee or elbow on a synthetic lawn is no longer a problem.
The other major objections to a synthetic lawn had to do with appearance. Old style synthetic lawns looked fake. One could tell even at a distance that the grass was not real. This is not the case with the latest products. It is almost impossible to tell the difference between real grass and synthetic grass. Having the latter installed will help you keep up the appearances of the grounds associated with your institution.
It is important, however, to work with a synthetic lawn company that adheres to the highest standards in the industry. Not every company is the same. The company you work with should be able to deliver on its promises, and it should so at a reasonable cost. There are plenty of vendors offering synthetic lawns, which means there is a great deal of competition. You should not be forced to pay above market prices for your lawn. You should receive a high-quality synthetic lawn at a reasonable price; and you should get all the service and maintenance guarantees required to keep it in good working order.
The company you work with should be willing to stand by its work and its brand. The lawn you have installed should contain no flaws or defects; it should be perfect in appearance, and you should not have to expend large amounts of time or money on its maintenance. With the lawn should come a high-quality warranty. Although you should not have to waste time calling the vendor to come out and fix something they should have taken care of in the first place, if you must do so it should not cost you a penny.
