Ni-hard Iron Castings are better cast by metal mold

Since martensite structure is to be obtained in the as-cast state, metal mold casting is preferred for Ni-hard Iron Castings.

Because in the metal mold, the cooling speed of the casting is fast, which can effectively inhibit pearlite transformation of austenite, avoid graphitization, and ensure the gist of white cast iron. Due to the fast cooling speed, the primary crystal structure is fine, and the mechanical properties are much higher than that of sand casting.

For simple shapes, especially thick-wall nickel hard iron castings, such as rolls, roll heads, grinding balls and lining plates of wet ball mills, metal mold casting shall be used as much as possible.

Shenyang University of Technology Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. mainly produces metallurgy, mining, building materials, power stations, milling, crushing equipment and spare parts. At the same time, it also produces various high and low alloy steel castings, high manganese steel castings, copper alloy centrifugal castings and sand castings, with an annual production capacity of about 10,000 tons.
