You Cannot Replace a Human Translator with a Machine

  • Machine translation cannot translate the culture. A single word can change the entire meaning of a document because of how that culture uses it.
  • Machine translation does not take into account the multiple meanings of words. Only human translation can provide you with accurate meaning depending on the context of the sentence or situation.
  • Every document has a tone or style Machine translation can’t recognize the document style or tone

Machine translation cannot tell if a document is poetic, persuasive, or funny in style but a human translator can recognize the type of writing in documents easily. When considering human vs computer translation, human translators recognize differences in style and tone.

 

Machine translator can’t recognize the small nuances and the intended tone in the document so, this will lead to inaccurate translation and will give a wrong meaning.

Translation isn’t Finished without Human Translation Ability

Machine translation uses Artificial Intelligence which improving day after day, but will never match with human intelligence.

Actually, after finish any translation using machine translation it has to revision by a human translator and proofreads and grammatically revision, so there are always need to the last human translator touch.

In the end, the language service embraces technology as a way to make translation jobs faster but not necessarily better. This spells a continued need for professionals as well as up-to-date software programs and other AI.
