I’m Michael Peres, a Software Engineer, Mathematician, and full-time traveller. I’ve also founded two start-ups as well as my own podcast, the Michael Peres podcast, which focuses on the latest news in the science, entrepreneurship, and technology worlds.

Even as my professional life has sent me in different—from news services, travel blogging to cryptocurrency—one constant has always been my commitment to website creation and website hosting. At this point I’ve got over a dozen years of experience to draw on, which only makes me more proud of the work I do. I also offer software engineering advice and general online consultancy services to hundreds of successful start-ups, companies, and prominent figures.

I’m a native of Montreal, Canada but I’ve been fortunate enough to live in a variety of different places, including New York, Israel, San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Portland, Seattle, Hawaii, and Vancouver.

I travel full-time while engrossed in the work I love, and am currently working on a ten-step guide (Breaking 9 to 5) designed to help other people do the same.

Helping others is essential for effective networking, and I aim to help others in a multitude of ways. For example, by running viral LinkedIn campaigns and providing resource files, I’ve been able to help people ace their GMAT exams. I’ve had over 115,000 requests so far, and counting.

I hold degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Jewish Studies and am currently working towards an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering. I believe a well-rounded education is the key to making a dent in the business world, and I’m determined to never stop learning.

The passion I have for the bio-medical world is deep and resilient enough for me to structure my future around. Ultimately, my intention is to devote my life to understanding the subject. I hope to one day make my own contributions to the field, and my 5 year plan is essential to getting this expedition underway.
