Engineering colleges 64448 seats filled, Empty of even more in India

The Professional Admission Committee (ACPC), which is conducting admission to the technical course, has released detailed information about how many seats were filled and vacant in the admission process, which was started this year.

This year, the admissions committee initiated proceedings for an estimated 58 lakh seats. Apart from the three rounds and offline rounds, vacant seats were given to the colleges after the vacant seats were given a specific time to fill the vacant seats.

This time has already been completed. Now a days many student want to get govt job, so some of them student do preparation of Competitive Exam after 12th. As per the official data of the Admissions Committee, 93788 seats have been vacated. Which directly means that only 64448 seats could be filled in all 16 courses.

The admissions committee started the admission process for 16 different courses this year. In each course, the majority of seats are held as a state quota and 25 percent of the seats as management quotas.

The admission committee announced today that 40317 seats were vacated in the highest degree of engineering in the summary of admissions. The second highest number of 30556 seats for diploma is vacant.

The most striking of the figures released by the Admissions Committee is that the details of the three courses, including diploma engineering, have not been released yet. Not only graduates but also 4834 seats in Postgraduate - PGME - M Tech. In these vacant seats, if the sum of the diploma seats is reduced, more than one and a half lakh seats remain vacant.

Of the 16 courses, the management quota vacated 9,000 seats out of a total of 13653

Sources say that the admissions committee did not include some courses in the summary so that the vacant seats do not appear too large. At present, the details of the course have been declared 93788 seats are vacant. Of the 16 courses that have been announced, not a single course has any vacancies. Seats ranging from one seat to 40317 seats have been vacated in different courses.

A total of 13653 seats were available in all the courses which the admission committee has announced for the 16 courses. Out of which 4024 seats could be filled at the end of the admission process. Which means, 9629 seats are vacant. At one time, in the management quota, administrators were collecting donations ranging from one lakh rupees to three and in some cases to four lakh rupees. Instead, over 9,000 seats have been vacated.

More than 40,000 seats vacated in Degree Engineering alone, the admission committee announced the final statistics for the total 16 course admissions, the details of engineering in the diploma were not disclosed.
