The types of Ireland Visa

  1. Short stay 'C' Visa:

Criteria - All applicants for a short stay ‘C’ visa must show that they have sufficient strong family, social or economic ties to your residence place in a country other than Ireland to assure the visa officer evaluating the application that the estimated stay in Ireland will be temporary and in agreement with the duration and conditions of the consent by the immigration authorities on arrival in Ireland. You must apply online for an Irish Student Visa. Once you have completed the online application process, you need to adhere to the guidelines on the summary application form that is generated by the online system. The summary form will comprise information on where you are supposed to submit your supporting documentation.

The summary form must be printed and signed along with date and must be submitted with your supporting documentation.  You are required to provide your Biometrics information as part of the application process.

Applying for your visa online:

You can apply for student visa online using the Irish Government’s official website. You need to apply at least three months before your planned date of travel to Ireland. Keep in mind, your application date is the date when your application fee is paid.
