Wey Mould is the leading mold making and manufacturing company in China. They offer a large number of products that are accompanied by high-quality customer services. All of the molds manufactured by Wey Mould assist other companies to create their own version of the plastic product. There are certain best-selling molds created by We Mould which include the Molding PVC Pipe, Toilet Seat Mold, Plastic Fork Mold, and Container Mold. However, the main focus is to understand the overall process of the Plastic Bottle

PET stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate, which is the material or the overall compound used. The PET Pre-Form Mould is a product that is created at the preliminary stage of the Plastic bottle. The raw material is available in different styles which include pellets or powder. This raw material is transferred to a heating platform for the materials to melt thoroughly. The liquid is then poured over the mold. The molding plate looks very similar to a metallic set of identical loops. As the name suggests, the pre-form is the initial shape of the plastic bottle. It is similarly shaped to look like an open-ended cylindrical test tube. The test-tube is just the first step in the long plastic bottle making the process. The open-ended portion of the pre-form mold is fitted with the thread that meets the neck ring. The thread is referred to as the topmost portion of the bottleneck which acts as a screw for the tightening bottle cap.

Bottle caps fall under the accessories of the overall bottle making the process. The bottle caps are manufactured on a different mold. The bottle cap making process is simplified with the help of the Bottle Cap Mold. The bottle cap mold is identified with a metallic plate with multiple raised, coin-like patterns. Each of the coin-like elements is carefully structured with a thread that matches the pre-form mold. One of the most important factors is for the bottle head and the bottle cap to be identical. It must be identical enough to be tightly screwed together. The melted raw material or plastic pellets is poured over the pattern. It is then is layered over and pressed with another patterned plate. These are then shifted to the drying and cooling stage. Once they have dried, the excess product is trimmed and reused.

The overall structure of the pre-form is to meet the requirements of an efficient process with the blowing machine. The blowing machine, in simple terms, blows air. As the name suggests the blowing machine pushes filtered air into the Pre-Form Mould. The pressure that is generated by the blowing machine allows the pre-form bottle to take the desired shape and feel of the final bottle’s structure. The overall process of the blowing machine simply expands the shape of the test tube. This also thins the outermost layer to meet the pre-planned shape and size of the bottle.

There are a variety of shapes and sizes of the bottles. It all depends on what the requirement of the size, color, and final purpose of the plastic bottle is to be. The production of plastic bottles may sound like an environmental challenge, but Wey Mould ensures that the plastics used for the production of these products are safely used. There are multiple uses of such bottles that even include bottles for cleaners and chemicals or emergency packaged drinking water. No matter which industry one is in charge of, there will always be a slight demand for plastic bottles.
