PJ Masks characters are coming to Leicester - here's when and where you can meet

Children will have the chance to meet a trio of superheroes here in Leicester later this year.PJ Masks characters Owlette, Catboy and Gekko are flying into the National Space Centre for a day of fun on Friday, May 10.To get more pj mask characters, you can visit shine news official website.

Popular TV programme PJ Masks - which is shown on Disney Junior and Tiny Pop - follows the adventures of six year-olds Connor, Amaya and Greg, who go to school like everyone else.

But, as night falls and they put on their pyjamas and activate their animal amulets, they magically transform into superheroes!The characters are visiting the National Space Centre for a Small Space day - a day of fun dedicated to the centre's smallest visitors.

Combining stories, songs and trails, Small Space days are a fun and interactive way for young children to continue their early educational development.

On May 10, guests will be able to meet their TV heroes Owlette, Catboy and Gekko, plus Luna Girl.

There will also be the chance to watch a space-themed episode of PJ Masks in the Live Space gallery.Charlie Isham, education manager at the National Space Centre, said: "We're delighted to partner with eOne's PJ Masks. Their Moonstruck episode is a great way to introduce children to the topic of space in a year when we're celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon programme.

"Our Small Space days are a great chance to explore and play with sensory crafts and activities."
