Overview about Quality Assurance

Posted by Stream Line on November 22nd, 2019

Quality assurance is a systematic process followed by organizations and corporations to do a thorough check on the products and services they provide to customers. This process ensures quality and satisfaction to customers. This process is very important and runs in a systematic manner. ISO 9001 Certification Australia

Quality assurance (QA) is one of the most common goals to which organizations aspire, but it also can be elusive. Many companies, like food processing plants, bear considerable costs to hold regular inspections and ensure products comply with industry standards. Even with regular inspections, not all shipped goods are perfect; inspecting every item thoroughly would put many out of business.

Quality assurance has 2 aims: build up managers' confidence in the internal organizations and customers' confidence as well. If the quality requirements do not reflect all consumers' needs, products cannot get the proper confidence of consumers.

Quality assurance is a routine process that ensures the quality of products and services delivered to the customers. You can also term it as a manufacturing process that involves testing of products and services right from the beginning. Quality Assurance Services

When considering QA, it is essential to be noted that:

(1).-QA that satisfies consumers' needs doesn't mean just satisfying customers with international or national standards. Because in the modern production, enterprises are not allowed to provide products that do not meet the specific quality standards. However, it just meets the legal requirements and does not mean that production is effective.

(2).-It is the same for exports. Products for exporting must meet the requirements of foreign customers who place orders.

(3).- Senior managers must notice the importance of QA and ensure that all members in their organizations actively attend to quality assurance programs. Also, it is necessary to connect employees' interests with companies' performance.

ISO 9001 the Process Approach

The ISO 9001 2000 standard is designed to manage and improve organizations processes. There is a great deal of misunderstanding and misinterpretation of the meaning of the process approach to Quality. ISO Certification Consultants

The process approach to Quality Assurance is based on the idea that an organization is a system of interlinked processes.

If an organization does not define how its individual activities work together and the order in which the activities are performed it cannot deliver a quality product to its customers.

The process approach to quality involves analyzing and then documenting the actual activities and links between those activities within an organization using simple process flowcharts. This technique is typically used by an auditor when conducting a gap analysis on a business. If you are unsure about your ability to identify your processes then you can employ a consultant to assist you.
