Everyday life turns into adventure with Maxon and Maisie!

Being a short adventure book for kids, there are 3 interesting points in approach to titles and
descriptions:
1. After each activity, Maxon, the principal storyteller (alongside Grandpa, as we find
out, p. 28), encourages readers to make a plan for their own activity, kind of a “call for
action”
2. Encouraging young readers to engage in their own adventure makes it a
participatory book (contrary to being just a narrative one)
3. In that manner, it is interesting to decide how to address reader - from point of “the book
you should buy for your children” or “… join Maxon and Maisie and build your kingdom”
Bearing that in mind, suggested titles and descriptions take different approaches but are not
exclusive and can be adjusted: addressing children directly, addressing parents with
emphasis on benefits for their children and describing engaging activities for kids.

Want to build your own castle? Embark on a ride with Choo Choo? Fight the dragons? Learn to be a noble knight or brave princess?

All you need is your imagination! Maxon and Maisie will show you how.
