Hand retractable spring plungers are meticulously machined from the solid bar rock. The retractable plunger is the one which is slightly tapered for easy alignment and is hardened for the greater side load strength in the extended position. These are easy to use and the handles are gripped well, making it faster to use and suitable for one-handed operation. The locking types will lock the plunger in its retracted position when rotated by a turn of 90 degrees.

Hand retractable spring plungers are widely used in various applications. In industrial, medical and consumer applications, these are used for various purposes like indexing, positioning and fastening the components. Having features like quick- disconnect and positive locking, they are ideal for many applications. These are the spring-loaded devices that can be drawn back in the position manually. Plungers can be locking or non-locking type, their usage is different.

Plungers come in a variety of thread sizes and materials. They may have different head sizes and handles and could also have the knurled heads. There are various types of plungers for different purposes.

The major types of plungers are:

Knurled Knob - locking nose without nylon: These are the spring plungers with locking hand, which is made up of stainless steel, and brass with a retractable knurled handle and is without nylon patch. These are available in various sizes and dimensions.
