 Use of the Tablet Pack:

You can use the Tablet Pack for many purposes like if you are using the Word 2002 as your email editor then you can write down a short handwritten note, and can send it as an email message.

If you are using the Power Point 2002, and giving a slideshow presentation then you can directly comment on a slide. You can also use handwriting when you are inserting comment balloons in a document in the Word 2002. Moreover, while reviewing the data in the Excel 2002, you can comment on worksheets, and you can also make diagrams, notes, and drawings by your handwriting.

Installation:

In order to install the Tablet Pack, go to the Microsoft? website or contact the technical support, and ask them for downloadable file of the Tablet Pack. After getting the file, download it, and follow the instructions. After downloading the file, click twice on the opsetup.exe program file on the hard disk to start the setup, and follow the instructions on the screen to accomplish the installation process.

After installing the Tablet Pack, new commands will be available on the Insert and Help menus in Excel 2002, Word 2002, PowerPoint 2002, and Outlook 2002 while using the Word 2002 as email editor.

 

Issues and Solutions:

 

If you are using the Tablet PC with the Windows? XP Tablet PC Edition 2005, the start screen will display the Windows? XP not the Windows? XP tablet PC Edition. There is no solution for this as the start screen has been changed for all versions of XP.

 

You may receive an error message, which is ?How Do I Log On? when you tap CTRL+ALT+DEL on the logon screen. The Windows? XP Tablet PC Edition requires a hardware button to be mapped to the keystroke sequence CTRL+ALT+DEL. To create this sequence you are required to either press the keyboard shortcut, which is on a hardware keyboard, or press the Tablet PC hardware button as this is assigned to this function.
