Custom Made Wedding Dresses For All Seasons

There are many factors to consider for brides-to-be when choosing custom made wedding dresses, and also plenty of pitfalls to avoid. Wedding days can be stressful enough, without realising half way through that something has been overlooked and the day is heading for catastrophic failure. Here are a few things to bear in mind to ensure that, with the dress at least, everything is perfect.

When choosing custom made wedding dresses, brides have all the benefits of a bespoke piece of clothing - it is unlikely that an off-the-peg-dress will fit particularly well without alterations. The problem is that the custom made wedding dress will take a long time to manufacture, meaning that the bride-to-be will be extremely conscious of any weight loss or gain that she experiences as the wedding approaches. The temptation, then, is to engage in crash dieting or other measures to achieve quick changes to body shape. This can have terrible results, leading to all kinds of side-effects - from spots and greasy hair to dizziness and fainting. All best avoided!

Custom designed wedding dress have become the pinnacle of wedding fashion, integral to making the special day even more special. But again, it is important to remember that they are expertly made bespoke pieces and, as such, have a long lead time in manufacturing terms. This is a good thing - brides-to-be want to know that their dress is being produced by an artist who will put as much care and work into the dress as they would themselves. But it is a sad fact that many brides leave it far too late to order their bespoke garment and end up missing out on the dress they would really like to be married in.

While it is important for brides to be decked out in perfect custom made wedding dresses, it is just as important for their bridesmaid's dresses to match - or at least work in harmony with the bride's attire. Sometimes colour clashes can work in a way that is visually arresting, but before taking too much of a risk, it is important that when planning the outfits you ensure that the colours or styles really can work together. Remember that all of the dresses will be seen together for most of the big day, making it all the more important that they can share the stage without causing offence/hilarity/migraines.

If you have any concerns or there is any more information you'd like, remember that the person designing and making your wedding dress will be only too happy to help. Just ask - after all, it's the designer's big day too!
