The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is the licensing authority in UK for the private security industry. The main aim of SIA is to standardise and increase the skills as well as the professionalism of those employed in the Security industry. Therefore, it is essential to have a valid SIA licence if you want to become a Security Guard or Door Supervisor.
