My Dream Trip to Washington DC with Emirates Airlines !!

Since childhood, I had a wish to visit Washington DC. But my fortune was not in my favour as the trip was very costly for me and I just could not afford it. With time passing by, I was slowly accepting the fact that my dream trip is not possible due to my financial problems. Somehow, things changed when I got to know about Emirates Airlines Bookings. I was really excited and nervous at the same time because I needed to calculate the whole expense and compare it to my budget. The Emirates Airlines provided me with the best in class services and facilities, I was allowed to check-in early, they also offered me in-flight complimentary meals and drinks. The ticket booking process with Emirates Airlines was very easy and convenient, the in-flight crew members were very well behaved and helpful.

Everything with Emirates Airlines was above my expectations, I could not believe that I am getting this much services and facilities for the ticket amount I paid. The White House:

You must have the name of The White House in the list of places to visit in Washington DC. It is the official residence of the president of the United States. It was built by James Hoban in 1792 and after the attack of British forces in 1814 was rebuilt in 1818.

There is a free White House Visitor Center which is just a short distance away and it has excellent exhibits. It shows the details about the White House and the presidential families which includes furniture of ex-presidents, history of The White House, and a model of the residence.

United States Capitol and Capitol Hill :

I would also recommend you to visit the Capitol, It is recognized as the symbol of the United States in the world. It is the seat of the House of Representatives and the Senate. There is also a huge dome which is based on the dome of St. Peter’s in Rome.

The interior Comprises of frescoes, reliefs, and paintings. The small Senate Rotunda has a beautifully restored Old Senate Chamber where the Senate met until 1859, and the Supreme Court until 1935.

The National Museum of Natural history:

You should also visit the National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC. It is one of the most popular things in Washington, It has a collection of the natural world related things with permanent and changing exhibits to interest every age groups. One of the favourite exhibits includes the Hope Diamond and the attractive collection of gems and minerals around it, Ocean Hall with amazing underwater photography and replica of a 45 foot North Atlantic Whale, and the Hall of Human Origins which shows the human evolution over the years. Children will definitely enjoy the dinosaur exhibits and the Discovery Room where they can interact with various artefacts.
