As time evolves, both language and words change their significance through wide-spread and common usage. When it had been just teenagers who drove everyone crazy, as if they spoke a different kind of speech, using words like,'Cool, wicked, hip mad and rad'. Now, however, even the old generations have had to come to terms of new phrase meanings, as words create a brand new culture of speech. This has never been more obvious than in the ethereal world of the Internet and Cyber Space.

O Not so long ago memory was something that you lost just with age. You can now lose it by simply pushing the wrong button. Neither could it be added into a screwdriver wielding technician

O A program was used to apply for things like a government benefits, employment, or even a bank loan

o A application was some thing that you watched on TV, or a fancy piece of paper that you were handed in the opera, or ballet

o A cursor was a man or woman who espoused and to be avidly avoided, or ignored in polite company

o Musicians employed a computer keyboard to make music

o A spider captured its prey at a web. Now the'web' captures a different kind of species

o postman was happy to deliver your email no matter what the weather was like

o A virus was just the flu that gave you a number of days off work. Now it is to be avoided in Any Way costs

o A mouse was a bit furry grey creature that made girls scream and jump on seats

o Forums were held in conventions where well known speakers expressed their own views and understanding

o A net was employed for catching fish or butterflies

o A screen was used to generate solitude

o TShirts were printed on a flat display

o A monitor was a bossy kid at school, or a South American iguana

o A camera was something that you placed film in

o Aeroplanes and ships used docking stations

o Chips went with fish and tomato sauce

o Language was vocal

o A mommy board involved ironing and washing

o You put your money to a CD account at the bank

o A hard drive was when you took a long trip on a rocky street

o A stick Was Made by a tree

o The Start of something was the source, not a pc signal

o Social media was something that you enjoyed being involved at parties

o Information was gathered from libraries

o A blackberry was something you enjoyed eating, not miniaturized computer gear

o A computer was a large piece of gear you had in your desk, not something That's evolving into nothing larger than the pocket size pencil

As to all the other mystical Cyber Space language which has evolved to become a part of our everyday life, we give it little thought. Terms such as PC, chat rooms, html, CPU (central processing unit) and search engine optimisation. Last but not least, there was the 8 inch floppy disc, which dwindled to a 5 inch floppy disc, until it turned into a 3 1/2 inch hard disk drive, which has now evolved to a flash. There was a time when flashes were something you witnessed just at high profile cricket or football matches
