Maintenance of King Starboard Plastic Sheets

  • Mr. clean magic eraser is ideal to clean everyday dirt and stains. Scrubbing should be done lightly as excess force can damage the finish
  • A citrus cleaner, alcohol, or spirit can be used to clean petroleum stains such as oil or grease.
  • To add an attractive lustre to the finish and hide small surface blemishes, furniture polish or products such as Armor-all can be used. These products should not be used on walking surface to prevent slipping.
  • Persistent stains will go away if you soak the area with bleach. 100% chlorine used to treat swimming pools should not be used for this purpose.
  • For severe petroleum stains the use of WD-40 should be considered.
  • If there are tough marks or stains, the area must be lightly sand. Here only stained area should be worked upon as sanding will remove matt finish.
