Replay NBA GamesPosted by johnmorson on November 28th, 2019 Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant didn't have it going the entire game, but his fourth-quarter alone proved why many believe he is the frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year award early on this season. Replay NBA Games Morant had nine assists heading into the fourth but couldn't get in any sort of a scoring rhythm with just six points. In the fourth quarter when his team needed him most, the rookie guard exploded for 14 points shooting 50.0% from the field to put his team in a great position to win. But even with the 19-year-old stepping up big in the fourth quarter, it wasn't enough to stop the LA Clippers from winning their seventh-consecutive game. Without Kawhi Leonard (knee), All-Star forward Paul George and the bench dynamic duo of Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams stepped up big. George finished with 22 points including a massive go-ahead 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter. Replay NBA Games Williams matched Harrell with a team-high 24 points while also dishing out a career-high 13 assists. Along with Harrell's 24 points came 10 rebounds in a double-double, as well as the game-winning putback that sealed the victory for the Clippers. Like it? Share it!More by this author |
