• There should be at least 36 inches wide area at each side of the bed for a smooth transfer from wheelchair to bed.
• Door latch should be only 48 inches higher than the floor to make it accessible for wheelchair users.
• All the electric appliances, including lamps, electrical sockets, and drapery wands, should be easily operated for a disabled person.
• Cupboards should be only 54 inches above the floor and 48 inches from sides to make it easily accessible for wheelchair operators.

Doors and hallways

• Corridors should have every accessible place only 33 inches far.
• Halls should not have any vertical design or steps other than ¼.
• There should be one room without complicated latches and security barriers that can be operated with one hand to avoid any nuisance to wheelchair users.

Ramps and slopes

• There should be a consecutive ratio of height and width of the ramp to make it easy to operate for a wheelchair user.
• Interior of ramps must have resting routes for people of almost 60 inches length
